Thurs already?! Worked all day, then off for a Met Up at a sports bar to have dinner—burger & salad–before you say good girl–they were out of onion rings and only had sweet potato fries (gag). Was a fun evening and I meet some nice people. I may start up my own group.

In all the assorted emails I got one this morning that I really found interesting. It was a summary of news reports. But the one that caught my eye: “Wigs, jewelry and a horrifying toothache are among the things a CT scan of a mummy can reveal” Seems like they’ve started doing CT scans on mummies with some bizarre results. “Rsearchers also made a…gruesome discovery…a scan of an(another)…mummy revealed a spatula had been left lodged in its skull after being used to scoop out its brains.The body of the man…is believed to have been mummified around 600 BC. Tamut and the man are among eight mummies that were examined with…CT scanners that produce high resolution data that can be turned into 3D images…originally designed to make cars.

While several lost items from King Tuts tomb were found in a mansion in England ( http://www.nytimes.com/1988/03/10/arts/egyptians-claim-lost-king-tut-treasures.html ) in 1987 I doubt if we have a lot in our homes–but how about Egyptian themed?
