MAKE COOKIES FOR YOUR BATH
From Dr. Myles H. Bader’s 1,001 Secret Household Formulas & Money Saving Tips
My Pal Publishing, 2007
1/2 Cup Baking Soda (Fresh)
2 Tbsp. light corn oil
2 Eggs (large)
2 Cups of powdered sea salt (Health food stores)
3 Drops of rose oil fragrance
Place all the ingredients in a medium bowl and knead by hand until a workable dough is formed. Form the dough into small tbsp. size balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake the cookies in a pre-heated 350 degree F oven for 10-12 minutes, keeping an eye on them so that they do not burn. They should be just lightly browned, not black. A soothing bath can be achieved by adding two “cookies to your bath water.

A couple of weeks ago we went walking about downtown Winter Park, Florida—its a fun way to spend a Saturday with lots of great shops and eateries and a large park with fountains and the like….when I got ready to drive away I saw that there was something under my wipers…I didn’t wanta stop so I tried turning the wipers on. When that didn’t work I just left it to the force of the wind—but when I got home it was still there—and this was what it was. So I figured I’d reward it’s staying power and pass it along to you

The Stone Fort of Grianán of Aileach sits on a hilltop in Inishowen County Donegal. 250m above sea level, the stone fort was probably first built on an earthen rath. The fort has been dated back to 1700 BC. And historians attribute it to the Tuatha de Danann who invaded Ireland before the Celts According to Celtic Myths and Legends (T.W. Rolleston) translates as “the folk of the god whose mother is Dana (it is also said that Dana bears another name, that of Brigit, a goddess held in much honour by pagan Ireland whose attributes were transferred in legend to the Christian St. Brigit.
The rivers Brent in England, Braint in Wales, and Brigid in Ireland are all related linguistically and maybe religiously to the root Brig/Brigant. [10] [11] brenhin, from the goddess’ name, Brigan_, understanding it to mean originally “consort of the goddess”; Cartimandua’s own freedom in discarding one husband for another seems like evidence that she followed the goddess’ model, selecting a mate with whom to rule the Brigantes. [12] . But the more ordinary Celtic words for king come from an Indo-European root, *regs– which has given us Irish rÌ, Latin rex, Germanreich; and Cartimandua was unusual among Celtic leaders, who were normally men.
