TRUE OR FALSE A LOOK AT LEGENDS, SEX AIDS AND OTHER DELIGHFUL IDEAS THAT MAY OR NOT BE TRUE

I’m back—in case anybody missed me.  Had to go north for my mum’s memorial.  She would have been 90 this year.  Please think kindly of her if you would.

Since I got back late on Monday I vegged on Tuesday so haven’t gotten it all together:  Thought I’d just do a variety of assorted trivia today to amaze your mind and confound your senses.

CHOLESTEROL TESTS ARE OUTDATED:  According to Johnny Bowden, PhD, CNS in the March 2014 Healthy Edge.  He states that current tests do not cover the five different kinds of HDL (not all of which are good) and that “Knowing your total LDL, is next to worthless.”  He recommends using one of “the modern ‘cholesterol particle tests.”  which he says are often covered by insurance and not expensive.   I’m a nurse and these are new to my might be worth a deeper look

A NICE CHANGE FROM THE GIANT MYTHS–THESE ARE LITTLE PEOPLE’S LEGENDS AROUND THE WORLD:   Legends of little people who survived the Great Flood and initiated the sacred traditions from the Squat gods of Mexico and Peru, the fairy kingdoms of Europe and blonde pygmies of Madagascar; Martinez notes their skills in stone carving, agriculture, navigation, writing and shamanic healing.

FLORIDA IS THE ONLY STATE WITH MANATEES (Places in the Sun/Bertha E. Bloodworth & Alton C. Morris) The name is from the Spanish manati, meaning sea cow and they are found along the coast of the state as well as farther inland in some of our warm springs (with coastal access) during the cooler parts of the year.  We even have a Manatee County (created in 1855).

AN EGYPTIAN SYSTEM THAT CAN PREDICT YOUR (OR ANYBODY ELSE’S) FUTURE.  This book uses a 12,000 year-old system to predict every day of every year and goes on to note that our age is the embryonic stage of a Utopian and Golden Age ahead.  There are even tables so that you can do your own predictions.

FLORIDA ALSO HAS SAW PALMETTO (Strange FLorida/Charlie Carlson) This hardy but short palm which grows in the Florida scrub lands has been totted as a health aide since the late 1800s when it was used in a variety of tonics as “a sedative and diuretic“.  The native Indians before this time had used it for everything from dysentery to skin lesions and they reportedly also claimed it could enlarge breasts and increase sexual desires.  It’s popular again for urinary track problems, head colds and as a stimulant.  Haven’t heard anymore about the boobs and sex thing though.

THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO DOZEN SECRET MANUSCRIPTS DEALING WITH LOST KNOWLEDGE:  Morrow in this book deals with Japan and insists these manuscripts have been handed down since the Paleolithic era by the ruling families  they deal with primeval alphabets, lost languages, forgotten technologies and the sacred spiritual science even UFOs, Atlanta and Jesus visiting Japan.

CELTS CONSIDERED NUMBERS TO BE VERY IMPORTANT–EVEN SACRED IN SOME INSTANCES. (Advanced Celtic Shamanism/D.J. Conway).  #1: represented creative power, independence, strength and discrimination.  #2:  alliances–male/female, positive/negative, hot/cold, inner/outer and cooperation for balance and existence.

THERE WAS A COSMIC CATASTROPHE IN 9500 BC.   Allan & Delair insist there is evidence of a great global catastrophe 11,500 years ago which changed land masses and raised mountain ranges as well as causing earthquakes and volcanoes.
