Today I’m just catching up some things I missed last week–we’ll get back to normal (not a term used for me very often) tomorrow (I hope).
First I missed another holiday and this is most of us could have really used: BLAME SOMEONE ELSE DAY. seems that the first Friday the 13th of each year is this day. On that day nothing is your fault. You may Heap the blame on someone else. Only problem with that is others can pass the blame for their faux pas on you..guess we’ll celebrate next year and not tell anybody else so they can’t push blame back.
Also missed my Friday Book drop: This week (or rather last) it was THE WINTER GHOSTS (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6450212-the-winter-ghosts) by Kate Mosse (http://www.katemosse.co.uk/) a young man in post World War I Europe, who is dealing with family issues and the death of his brother in battle is delayed by a blizzard while traveling in France and meets a young woman who has also suffered loss. This is a hauntingly sad story of the aftermath of war and the loss of loved ones.
